Abstract : An Al/Li-LDH film was prepared on the surface of Mg-5Li-1Al(LA51) magnesium alloy by hydrothermal synthesis method. The influence of the pH value of hydrothermal reaction on the morphology and properties of the Al/Li-LDH film was investigated by X- ray diffraction (XRD) , electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) testing , polarization curve and other characterization methods . The results show that the size of the Al/Li-LDH film increases as the the pH value of the hydrothermal reaction rises , and the corrosion resistance of the above-said film increases first and then decreases . When the pH value of hydrothermal reaction is 11 . 5 , the Al/Li- LDH film has the best corrosion resistance , including the largest charge transfer resistance Rct , the smallest corrosion current density Jcorr , and the smallest weight loss rate (0 . 1g/m2 ·a) .
