Abstract : In order to investigate the road performance of semi-rigid base asphalt pavement based on solid waste , a three-dimensional finite element model of semi-rigid pavement structure based on measured parameters was established on the basis of the North Ring Road of Baotou China National Highway 110 . Its mechanical response under the action of wave load was analyzed. The results of finite element simulation were compared with the allowable values . The results show that the stress and strain of the structure layer of semi- rigid pavement under fluctuating load are far less than the allowable value of the material. All the design indexes specified in the code meet the requirements . The mechanical properties of this kind of pavement are good and there is enough safety reserve . The research results can provide a theoretical basis for the material ratio , structure combination and parameter measurement of the same kind of pave- ment , and promote the wide application of solid waste materials .
