1.Basic Information

Journal of Inner Mongolia University of Science & Technology is an academic journal publicly published both domestically and internationally, approved and recognized by the National Press and Publication Administration of the People's Republic of China. International Standard Serial Number (ISSN): 2095-2295; Domestic Unified Publication Number (CN): 15-1357/N. It is supervised by the Department of Education of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and sponsored by Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology. The publication frequency is quarterly. Journal of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology is an RCCSE Chinese Applied Core Journal and is indexed by prominent domestic and international databases such as Chemical Abstracts (CAS), EBSCO, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), VIP, and Wanfang Data. It has been rated as a "Quality Chinese Scientific and Technological Periodical" by the Western Periodicals Alliance and an Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Quality Periodical. The journal is primarily distributed to higher education institutions, research institutes, enterprises, and public institutions both at home and abroad.

2.History

Journal of Inner Mongolia University of Science & Technology, formerly known as Journal of Baotou Iron and Steel Institute, was founded in 1982. In 1992, approved by the National Science and Technology Commission and the NationalPress and Publication Administration,Journal of Baotou Iron and Steel Institutebegan to be issued at home and abroad. In 1993,the frequency changed to quarterly. In 2007, it was renamed as Journal of Inner Mongolia University of Science & Technology.

3.Personnel

Currently, the Editorial Department of Journal of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology has 2 editors with senior professional titles (bianzhen), 1 deputy senior editor (fu bianzhen), 4 editors, 1 professor, and 4 English editors; there are over 150 members on the editorial board; and more than 40 national "Four Youths" talents and industry experts. The journal possesses a large group of outstanding authors with senior professional titles or postgraduate degrees or above, which effectively guarantees the standard and quality of the papers.

4.Publication Purpose

Based on the actual conditions of the university and the region, oriented toward the major industrial demands of the nation and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, featuring rare-earth metallurgy and materials, discovering outstanding talents, recommending outstanding achievements, promoting academic exchanges, and disseminating scientific culture.

A domestic first-class and world-renowned periodical in the field of rare-earth metallurgy and materials.

6. Publishing Scope

Journal of Inner Mongolia University of Science & Technology mainly publishes articles innatural sciences. The fields cover materials science and engineering, metallurgical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronic science and technology, information and communication engineering, computer science and engineering, architecture, civil engineering, chemical engineering and technology, geological resources and geological engineering, mining engineering, environmental science and engineering, software engineering, bioengineering, security science and engineering, mathematics, physics, biology, etc.

The review period is generally 1 month, and the longest periodshall not exceed 3 months. Author shave right to handle their manuscripts that have not been answered after 3 months. The main selection criteria of the journal are academic level, quality and application value of the papers. No publication fees arecharged.
