Abstract:
Shendong mining area mainly exists shallow buried close-distance coal seam, and the fracture development of shallow buriedclose-distance coal seam has intensified after repeated mining, which has easy to lead to the instability of water-barrier layer and eventhe threat of water disasters. Strip filling mining is an economical and effective means to control fracture development and maintain thestability of aquifer. With the engineering situations of 2-2 and 3-1 close seams mining in Shigetai Coal Mine, the evolution law of over-burden fracture field under different ratio of filling interval width to filling strip width ( interva filling ratio for short) is studied by com-bining physical simulation and numerical calculation experiment to reseach. The results show the interva filling ratio of 3-1 coal seamsshould be less than 3. 5. That is,when the spacing width of backfill body is less than 54. 5 m and the width of backfill strip is morethan 15. 5 m,two equal spacing backfill strips are arranged in the lower coal seam, which can realize the control of mining overburdenfractures development.
