16.Pre- analysis of the design of a new screening systemfor hammer mill

Abstract:

The existing screening system of the new hammer mill cannot meet the need of further improving the screening efficiency.Therefore,a vibrating screening system was designed to improve the screening capacity of the hammer mill. Based on the numericalsimulation method,the motion state of the material in the new and old screening systems was compared and analyzed by the coupling ofFluent-EDEM. The results show that the new screening system can effectively improve the air flow characteristics and the movement ofparticles in it,and the material particales can pass through the sieve with more ease. The screening efficiency of the new screening sys-tem has been increased by 13% in comparison with that of the old screening system.
