Abstract:
The contemporary plasmonic membrane exchange membranes still have deficiencies, such as low electrochemical perform-ance,low acid adsorption, poor acid retention capacity, and poor mechanical properties. The nanospherical cerium oxide was preparedby hydrothermal method and surface modified using coupling agent to obtain carboxyl-modified cerium oxide, and finally doped with PBIby solution casting method to obtain composite film. The proton conductivity of the optimally doped composite films was ( 0. 048 69 ~0. 117 81 S·cm - 1 ) increased by 54% ~ 72% over the temperature range of 80 ~ 160 °C compared with that of the pristine PBI( 0. 031 59 ~ 0. 068 72 S · cm - 1 ) and the performance of the single-cell at 140 °C showed that the peak power density reached385. 86 mW·cm - 2 . Compared with the 329. 75 mW·cm - 2 of pure PBI plasmonic film, the performance of modified cerium oxidedoped PBI plasmonic film has an improvement of 20% and possesses better performance compared with SiO 2 doped PBI plasmonic filmwith a peak power density of 320 mW·cm - 2 .
