13.Study of the effect of nozzle internal structureon the uniformity of the jet flow field

Abstract:

The effect of the internal structure of the slit nozzle on the uniformity of the flow field was investigated by numerical simula-tion. On the basis of the reliability of the simulation results verified experimentally,the internal structure of the three optimized nozzleswas simulated and analyzed using the commercial software Fluent for the problem of uneven flow field of the slit jet. The results showthat the optimized internal structure of the nozzle significantly improves the flow field uniformity. the manifold can play the role of flowdistribution,the baffle can reduce the problem of excessive inlet flow,and the design of the flume solves the problem of cross-flow andturbulent flow at the bottom of the manifold.
