Abstract:

The effect of continuous normalizing process on the microstructure and texture of 50W470 non-oriented silicon steel was ana-lyzed by optical microscope and electron backscatter diffraction equipment. The results show that the microstructure of 50W470 non-ori-ented silicon steel after continuous normalization is recrystallization, and the deformation structure completely disappears. The averagegrain size varies with the continuous normalization rate, and the microstructure uniformity is the best when the continuous normalizationrate is 80 m / min. With the decrease of continuous normalization rate, the proportion of recrystallized grain area increases gradually. Af-ter normalization, the area proportion of the favorable texture { 100} and { 110} increases, while the area proportion of the unfavorabletexture { 111} decreases. When the continuous normalization rate is 80 m / min,the texture factor ( { 100} + { 110} ) / { 111} is the lar-gest.
