摘要:为探索现有稀土分离生产线中间产品-铈镧复合碳酸盐在制备ZnVO基低压压敏陶瓷中应用的可能性,采用传统混合氧化物工艺在900℃4小时烧结条件下制备了以TiO2作为晶粒生长促进剂、以0~0.3wt%镧铈复合碳酸盐作为改性剂的低压ZnVO基压敏陶瓷。除ZnO主晶相、 Zn3(VO4)2和Zn2TiO4第二相,复合稀土碳酸盐在烧结中的分解还促使陶瓷中形成了CeVO4结构第二相,其中的Ce由La部分取代,并固溶有Zn、Mn和Co。Ti掺杂促进部分ZnO晶粒异常长大的作用未因复合稀土的引入而改变,导致陶瓷晶粒尺寸大小两极分化。0.1wt%稀土复合掺杂样品性能最佳:非线性系数15.3,压敏电压129V/mm,漏电流密度183.7μA/cm2。
Fabrication of Ce/La Composite CarbonateDoped Low-Voltage Varistor Ceramics of ZnVTiO System

Abstract:In order to study the feasibility of utilizing Ce/La composite carbonate, a typical half-way product of the conventional rare earth production line, in the field of low voltage varistor ceramics of ZnVTiO system, the traditional mixing oxide procedure was adopted to synthesize low voltage ceramics of ZnVTiO system with 0~3wt% Ce/La composite carbonate as property modifier and TiO2 as grain growth enhancer. All ceramic samples were sintered at 900ºC for 4 hours. Besides of ZnO main crystalline phase, the as sintered samples also have Zn3(VO4)2 and Zn2TiO4 as secondary phases. In samples with RE composite dopant, a solid solution with CeVO4 structure forms, in which Ce ions are partially substituted by those of La. Within it, Solid solution of Zn, Mn and Co is also confirmed. The effect of Ti on promoting abnormal growth of partial ZnO grains was not remarkably affected by the Ce/La composite dopant. Samples with 0.1 wt% Ce/La composite carbonate show the optimum properties. The nonlinearity exponent is 15.3, the breakdown voltage is 129 V/mm and the leak current density is 183.7 μA/cm2. Therefore, the as studied ceramic is a feasible candidate material for the fabrication of low-voltage varistor.
